Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bar & Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy, high-quality food and beverage outlet within a luxury hotel in the heart of Killarney. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Our client is an established and highly regarded 4-star hotel in Killarney, part of a respected hotel group with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, staff development, and service excellence.

The Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the bar and restaurant.
  • Lead, motivate, and train a diverse F&B team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Monitor service standards and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Drive revenue through effective cost control, upselling, and promotions.
  • Create staff rosters and manage labour costs effectively.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Liaise with the kitchen, events, and front office teams to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Maintain inventory control and ensure the timely ordering of stock.

The Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar F&B management role within a hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends and standards.
  • Proficient in stock control, budgeting, and rota planning.
  • Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
  • Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
  • Accommodation can be proveded

The Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: €40,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience)
