Job Summary
The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for supporting the Front Office Manager in managing and supervising daily operations of the front desk and guest services. This individual will serve as a key liaison between guests and hotel management, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the hospitality industry, strong leadership skills, and a passion for providing top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing and managing all aspects of the front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, guest requests, and reservations.
- Ensure efficient and smooth operations at the front desk, providing direction and support to front desk agents and other team members.
- Handle and resolve guest complaints and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Assists in training and coaching front desk staff to provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of front desk supplies, ensuring that stock is replenished in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Conduct regular audits of guest accounts and billing records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Assist with managing room inventory and rates, making adjustments based on occupancy and demand.
- Develop and maintain relationships with recurring guests, providing personalized and exceptional service to exceed their expectations.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for the front office department.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role in the hospitality industry.
- Experience in a supervisory or managerial position preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest complaints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform other physical duties as needed.
